Elias H. Parker
Volunteer mentor with Los Angeles Learning Hub
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Learning Hub
- Since 1987
- English
For 39 years I've mentored people in writing and entrepreneurship. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Elias
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Elias: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
