Eliane Lúcia Monteiro
Helping people break into farming
- 🇧🇷 Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- Rosewood Community Trust
- Since 2013
- Portuguese, English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 440 people through Rosewood Community Trust.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Eliane: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
