I coached volleyball at Duque de Caxias Youth Club from 1996 to 2016. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Eliane: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
