Eli J. Lawson
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- Sunrise Workshop
- 2003 to 2024
- English
I've worked in painting and decorating from 2003 to 2024. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 920 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.

What gifts mean to Eli: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
