Eleni Marta Demissie
Retired design and technology teacher from Bahir Dar Middle School
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- 1980 to 2008
- English, Amharic
For 28 years I was the design and technology teacher at Bahir Dar Middle School. I taught the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Eleni
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
