For 36 years I've run the chess program at Pioneer Boxing Gym in Addis Ababa. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Eleni
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Eleni: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
