I taught physical education and art at Ashford Girls' School, Minneapolis. I answered every email, even at midnight.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Elena
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
