I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1993 at Old Baobab Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Elena
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Elena: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
