I've been a nurse for twelve years, most of them in emergency care at Jacaranda General Hospital in Saint Petersburg. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
