Elena R. Flores
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Laredo, Texas, United States
- Old Liberty Workshop
- Since 2011
- English, Spanish
I've worked in thatching since 2011. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 800 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 12 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Elena
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
