Elena R. Cohen
Teacher at Oakland Secondary School, loves history

I taught history at Oakland Secondary School in Oakland from 2006 to 2021. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I played music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember that terrible school play.
