I've volunteered with Eastgate Mutual Aid from 1996 to 2012. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I never rush a conversation. Small habits keep a team together.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Elena: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
