Elena K. Bravo
Youth rowing coach and mentor
- 🇪🇸 Madrid, Madrid, Spain
- Madrid Youth Club
- Since 2007
- Spanish
For 19 years I've run the rowing program at Madrid Youth Club in Madrid. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Elena
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life. Greetings from Cleveland.
