Elena Jones
Volunteer mentor with Columbus Youth Network
- 🇺🇸 Columbus, Ohio, United States
- Columbus Youth Network
- Since 2009
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 630 people through Columbus Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I garden badly but happily.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Elena
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Elena: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
