Elena J. Payne
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 Leeds, England, United Kingdom
- 2014 to 2024
- English
My trade is painting and decorating. I opened my own shop in 2014 in Leeds and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 19 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.

What gifts mean to Elena: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
