Elena J. Fernández

Woodcarving artist in San Cristóbal de las Casas

  • 🇲🇽 San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico
  • Bayview Art Collective
  • 1985 to 2021

I'm a woodcarving artist based in San Cristóbal de las Casas. I've been making things from 1985 to 2021 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I watch every football match going.

More about Elena

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
