Elena Henderson
Master of carpentry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Lafayette, Louisiana, United States
- Good Shepherd Workshop
- 1991 to 2014
- English, Spanish
My trade is carpentry. I opened my own shop in 1991 in Lafayette and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 11 years later for another job.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Elena
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Elena: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
