Elena Greta Giuliani
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇹 Palermo, Sicily, Italy
- The Palermo Shop
- 1991 to 2025
- English, Italian
My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 1991 in Palermo and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I'm learning the guitar.

What gifts mean to Elena: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
