I organize the animal shelter in Birmingham. About 106 people rely on it every week.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I walk the dog by the river.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Elena
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Elena: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
