Elena Chen
Keeper of the children's collections
- 🇨🇦 Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
- Ottawa Reading Room
- 1982 to 1998
- English
For 16 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Ottawa Reading Room.
Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
