I teach anthropology at Liverpool Polytechnic since 2006, and supervised 39 dissertations along the way.
I write a short note to every student at the end of term. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Elena: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
