Elena A. Cruz

Chemistry and music teacher, Makati

  • 🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
  • Makati Public School
  • 2018 to 2025
  • English, Filipino
For eight years I was the chemistry teacher at Makati Public School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.

More about Elena

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
