Eleanor W. Steele

Youth boxing coach and mentor

  • 🇬🇧 Nottingham, England, United Kingdom
  • Riverside Swimming Club
  • 1983 to 2008
  • English
I coached boxing at Riverside Swimming Club from 1983 to 2008. Most of my players were between 11 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term. If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
