I taught accounting at St. Mary's Primary School in Colorado Springs from 2002 to 2016. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I played music while people worked.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
