Eleanor Armstrong
Rowing and fitness coach, San Francisco
- 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
- 2017 to 2025
- English
I coached rowing at San Francisco Sports Club from 2017 to 2025. Most of my players were between 11 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Eleanor
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Eleanor: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

you taught us how to lose properly. Worth more than any trophy. Greetings from Essen.
