Elaine Valentina Fonseca
Taught French at Eastgate High School
- 🇧🇷 Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil
- Eastgate High School
- 1978 to 1990
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Elaine
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me French in 2012 at Eastgate High School. I still remember the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Thank you again.
