I've volunteered with Elmwood Volunteer Corps since 2000. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I walk the dog by the river.
What gifts mean to Elaine: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
