I've been a nurse for 43 years, most of them in community health at Yogyakarta Community Hospital in Yogyakarta. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I'm learning the guitar.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
