Efrat Gili Shalom
Biology and geography teacher, Tel Aviv
- 🇮🇱 Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, Israel
- Tel Aviv Boys' School
- Since 2012
- English, Hebrew
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 14 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 640 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Efrat
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Efrat: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me biology in 2022 at Tel Aviv Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard

You taught me biology in 2020 at Tel Aviv Boys' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
