Efe Zainab Abdullahi
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Since 1985
- English, Hausa
I've worked in baking since 1985. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 1,760 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 24 years later for another job.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Efe
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Efe: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
