Efe Yewande Yusuf
Community volunteer, 13 years
- 🇳🇬 Nsukka, Enugu, Nigeria
- Crescent Community Kitchen
- Since 2013
- English, Hausa
I organize the community garden in Nsukka. About 93 people rely on it every week.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I make terrible puns.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you've ever been helped by one of our sessions, you're the reason we keep going.
What gifts mean to Efe: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
