Pottery, done properly
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- 2000 to 2013
- English, Igbo
I've worked in pottery from 2000 to 2013. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 510 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.

What gifts mean to Efe: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
