Efe Amaka Alabi
Flute player and teacher in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Elmwood Music School
- Since 1999
- English, Yoruba
I play flute and drums. I started in 1999 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Efe
I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
