I've coached wrestling at Dayton Lakeview Boxing Gym since 2016. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Eduardo
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Eduardo: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
