Caregiver and nurse, Highland Children's Hospital

I've been a nurse for 32 years, most of them in palliative care at Highland Children's Hospital in Xalapa. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Eduardo
I still get cards from families years later. They're pinned to my fridge.
Areas of care
What gifts mean to Eduardo: I'd put gifts toward a training course in palliative care.
