Edson Heitor Peixoto
Woodcarving artist in Duque de Caxias
- 🇧🇷 Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Little Duque de Caxias Studio
- Since 1998

I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1998 at Little Duque de Caxias Studio, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Edson
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.

What gifts mean to Edson: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
