Ebuka Sani Shittu
Sitar player and teacher in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Since 1987
- English, Yoruba
I play sitar and tabla. I started in 1987 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 6 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Ebuka
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Ebuka: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
