Ebuka Chinedu Okoro
Shoemaking for 13 years in Lagos
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- 1990 to 2003
- English, Igbo
I'm a shoemaking specialist. If you live around Lagos, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 15 years later for another job.
More about Ebuka
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Ebuka: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
