I coached chess at Bayview Swimming Club from 2011 to 2023. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Easton
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Easton: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
