Dylan H. Miller
First-generation students mentor, Belfast
- 🇬🇧 Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Pioneer Community Trust
- Since 2001
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,000 people through Pioneer Community Trust.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I watch every football match going.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Dylan
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Dylan: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
