I coached martial arts at Üsküdar Boxing Gym from 1978 to 1991. Most of my players were between 11 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
