I spent 16 years as a lecturer in civil engineering at Maple Ridge University in Birmingham. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
