Dumisani H. Pillay
History and geography teacher, Pretoria
- 🇿🇦 Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa

- Since 1995
- English, Afrikaans
For 31 years I have been the history teacher at Pretoria Middle School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,240 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Dumisani
If you were in my Grade 11 class, you probably remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
What gifts mean to Dumisani: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
