I've been a nurse for nine years, most of them in midwifery at Johannesburg General Hospital in Johannesburg. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm still learning every day.
