Dr. Zakari
28 years teaching modern history at Kingsway Polytechnic
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- 2016 to 2024
- English, Hausa
My subject is modern history, and for eight years I got to share it with undergraduates at Kingsway Polytechnic.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I run most mornings.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dr. Zakari
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Zakari: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
