I've spent 48 years as a lecturer in astronomy at Port Harcourt Institute of Technology in Port Harcourt. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I learn every name in the first week. It sounds small, but students remember small things.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

If you wrote a dissertation with me, I probably still have a copy on my shelf.
What gifts mean to Dr. Zakari: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
