Dr. Yusuf
17 years teaching sociology at Kano Institute of Technology

I spent eleven years as a lecturer in sociology at Kano Institute of Technology in Kano. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a waiter and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dr. Yusuf
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Yusuf: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
