I've spent 28 years as a lecturer in sociology at Newport State University in Newport. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I sing in a choir.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
What gifts mean to Dr. Young: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
