I've spent 28 years as a lecturer in mathematics at Brookfield Institute of Technology in Atlanta. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Dr. Xie: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
