Dr. Woods
27 years teaching mathematics at Townsville Polytechnic
- 🇦🇺 Townsville, Queensland, Australia
- Townsville Polytechnic
- 1982 to 2013
- English
I taught mathematics at Townsville Polytechnic from 1982 to 2013, and supervised 48 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a night-shift cleaner and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Dr. Woods
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Dr. Woods: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
